Hobbies include games and cards. He is attempting to relearn chess, a process he finds rather difficult. The author has dabbled with writing and photography. Politics and world events seem infinitely fascinating. He is trying to develop a social studies educational board game that incorporates this fascination with an emphasis on geography and economics. He enjoys history. His next writing project as currently conceptualized involves historical revisionism.

Now retired, he wonders how he ever had time to work. He seems to feel most at home in Colorado and wonders whether he should return.
